This was from "The Joy of Vegan Baking".
Final review: no one really liked it. The cake was moist, a little dense. I thought it was quite nice. Perhaps asians (or just my family) aren't used to having ginger in desserts. I ate about half the cake.. and the rest was left to grow mould. :(
Nonetheless, it was quite nice, seems a little like pie..
