Thing is, I made this cake on Saturday and we only ate it today. The cake was dry and rather stale. I don't know if it's because it's been a few days, or the cake really doesn't cut it.
In addition, sis commented the mousse was grainy. Perhaps I over-beat it, as the recipe mentioned that overbeating results in a grainy mousse.
SOBZ! Gotta try again I guess... I actually like the taste of the chocolate mousse but seems like my taste buds are officially dead.
