Donuts with Old English Spiced Sugar

Dad said it's better than the "sweet bun". Zc didn't think so. It's not bad when it's hot... but didn't seem like donuts, more like bread. I guess I need to deep fry it instead? Baked donuts don't work out? :( Will try another recipe again another day. I compiled some online yesterday when I was trying to find the temperature to bake donuts. Hehe..
